Infrared Kiss Lannie Pihajlic (FOC)
Pen/ink & Photoshop/Painter The heat that radiates from an object is easily seen in the infrared spectrum. Our bodies emit peaks in infrared at the wavelength of around 10 microns or 0.000001 meters. The brightest areas are the warmest and the darkest areas the coolest. Everyone has a unique infrared image. Some people may have warm noses or cool cheeks while the opposite may hold true for others. The closer the blood vessels to the skin, the warmer that skin area appears. What better way to demonstrate infrared than a kiss. I find it interesting that a kiss in infrared comes out white hot where the two lovers’ lips touch.
